Somatic Psychotherapy for Trauma and Emotional Regulation

Psychotherapy offers a space to slow down, listen, and reconnect with what is happening in the body and the inner world. Many psychological difficulties are not only held in thoughts or emotions, but also in patterns of tension, disconnection, and interrupted impulses within the organism.

My work is grounded in somatic psychotherapy and Biosynthesis, an approach that supports integration through the body, affect, and relational contact. Therapy focuses on restoring a sense of safety, continuity, and embodied self-regulation rather than analysing symptoms in isolation.

In the therapeutic process, we work with:

  • Body awareness and felt sense

  • Emotional regulation and nervous system stability

  • Trauma and developmental trauma

  • Stress-related and psychosomatic symptoms

  • Relational patterns and boundaries

Sessions are guided by careful pacing, respect for internal limits, and attention to present-moment experience. Verbal exploration is integrated with body-oriented interventions, allowing experiences to be processed gradually and meaningfully.

Psychotherapy is understood as a relational process, where change emerges through attunement, presence, and the activation of inner resources. The aim is not to push for change, but to create the conditions in which integration can naturally occur.
